HK TRIP 2009

im back from hongkong! :D
it's a really nice experience though some bad things happened.
this is gonna be a super duper long and wordy post.
no pictures are gonna be up.

DAY ONE
crawled out of bed at 5.30am.
then went to meet qimin at jelapang lrt station at 6.15am.
her uncle drove us to the airport. (:
reach the airport at around 7am.
and i realised i lost the keys for my luggage. -.-
damn dumb.
check in our luggage around 8am then went to have breakfast at the staff canteen.
board the plane around 9am.
i was super excited and kept asking qimin and adela if the plane is flying. :D
watched SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE and FAMILY GUY. hee.

reached HK at around 1plus.
the coach drove us and we reached the hotel around 2plus.
nua in the hotel and tried to pick the lock.
mr E.lim came to help me but we failed. -.-
went to stanely market around 4pm.
we were supposed to shop but we're too hungry. haha.
settled lunch at delifrance there. :D

went to the beach near the peak after that.
it was cold there. temp is 22 degree celcius.
took super loads of photos.
went to the peak at around 7pm.
scenery was totally blocked by the fog. -.-
wasted trip.
took the tram down the mountain.
we were facing the front and the tram was moving backwards!
thrilling~ though i felt nauseous after that. -.-

had dinner @ central. everything there's expensive. T.T
walked v long before settling down at some restaurant with food at reasonable prices for dinner.
food sucks. HK$58. ):
took the MTR with everyone and walked back to the hotel.
super tiring and legs ached.
the distance from the MTR to the hotel is very long. ):

DAY TWO
woke up at 8plus. last one to wake up as always.
had breakfast at 9.15am.
congee with bacon is nice! :D
coach drove us to disneyland at 10am.
was feeling super duper excited!
and disneyland was really fun!
tried almost every rides and watched almost every shows! XD
most memorable ones:
TOMORROWLAND.
- Space Mountain!
the high speed roller coaster in the dark.
i screamed until i no voice.
then my legs were like jelly when the ride ended. too weak. lol.
the photo taken was damn funny.
all of us were closing our eyes.
other people were laughing at our photos too when they saw it on the screen. -.-
- Stitch Encounter!
the animated stitch can have conversation with us! :D
he keep making fun of this phillipino guy.
the funniest part was when stitch spelt a girl's name wrongly for a planet he found.
when he said, "computer, delete!" the computer deleted the planet by blowing it up!
hahaha. and the stitch blamed it on to the phillipino guy. lol.

FANTASYLAND
- The Golden Mickey
it's like an award ceremony for the disney characters for different section.
the most heroic character, the most romantic couples, etc.
the show was performed by real people and mascots!
the entire show was in cantonese though. -.-
had to read the english subtitles on the screen.
im totally amazed by the speed of them changing the backdrops and props.
the effects and stunts by the performers are uber cool too!
and last of all... TARZAN'S 8PECS. omgly real.
he ran behind my seat.
I SAW IT. OMG. THEY ARE SOLID. O.O
oh ya, when i saw mickey, i was reminded of the south park episode with mickey mouse saying "hoho" after each sentence. HAHA.
- "Small small world"
the music kept playing in that place.
we took the slow boat ride and i must say, it's really creepy.
the dolls kept 'singing' the same song for like almost 10 minutes!
just that they are all in different languages.
and the LITTLE MERMAID version is damn ridiculous.
she 'sang' the song in english but sounds as if underwater?
like with alot of bubbles in her mouth?
wth. -.-
- 4D show.
had to wear special glasses when we watch the show.
the sound makes you feel like the characters are really moving.
and the animation. wow.
but it feels nothing when i took the glasses off.
the animation will just make you feel like you're having double vision.
i got frightened a few times when donald duck threw something 'at us'
there's this part where donald duck met ariel (the little mermaid) and she gave us jewels.
i laughed when i saw people trying to grab the jewels. they were grabbing air when i took off the glasses.
- Took Photos With Mascot!
i took photos with WOODY&JESSICA, GOOFY and MICKEY!
we were lucky that we don't need to queue up to take photos with them. :D
WOODY was scary. he put out his hand so i shook hand with him. then after that, he refused to let go of my hand. this happened before and after i took photos with them with qimin and adela.
after we took, qimin and adela were leaving and he refused to let go! he only let go when JESSICA slaps his hands. WAH~ i ran off damn fast after that. SCARY. @.@

ADVENTURELAND
- The raft to TARZAN's Treehouse.
- Jungle River Cruise.
i like the pirahnas. hahaha. look very real.
actually all the animals looked real. except for the crocodiles.
the fire thing was damn cool! the fire burns on the water! O:

USA Main Street
- parade at 3.30pm was cute.
they were singing some raining song because it was drizzling at that time.
the toy soldiers for the TOY STORY looked ridiculous.
- Fireworks at 7.30pm
had dinner halfway and we went out to watch the fireworks.
the people at the restaurant were kind enough to hold our tables for us.
even though they served me uncooked chicken. -.-
the fireworks was damn cool! :D

i spent most of my money for the whole trip at disneyland.
i think. LOL.
bought alot of stuff. i bought the most among the 3 of us.
wanted to buy this stitch hat.
when you wear it, it looks as if stitch is biting your head and hanging there.
but i looked retarded when i wear it. -.-
and it costs HK$195 which is like almost S$40?!
wtf. the tees are all selling at such prices. T.T
the tees are damn cute lah. ):

went to 女人街 after disneyland.
bought a bag, a pair of sneakers and some gifts.
then adela and qimin went to eat 龟凛膏（i think the middle word is wrong.)
i only knew it was made with turtles. omg. i ate turtles before! D:
at the end of the day, i've got the most number of shopping bags with me. x:
walked back to the hotel again. shorter distance though. :D

DAY THREE
woke up at 8plus again.
went to ASIA WORLD EXPO at 10am.
felt like crap because i slept at 3am. was playing adela's nintendo DS.
the talk was boring or maybe because i couldn't hear what the lady was mumbling about.
she should speak louder man.
felt as if i was sleep walking all the while.
took the public bus to CITYGATES.
bought 2 tops there. :D
had lunch at M! shake shake fries are nicer there. Mcspicy was called McCrispy there.
and the patty is very crispy. like KFC's crispy chicken! i like. :D
coach sent us back to the hotel.

changed and left our shopping stuff at the hotel.
took shuttle bus to 尖沙角.
walked damn long before having dinner at a restaurant called 糖朝.
the desserts are very good there i heard.
had wanton noodles and it was heavenly! the soup is sweet and nice. i finished everything in the bowl. it's very very clean! XD
then had sweet potato soup for dessert.
omg. it suck for me. THE GINGER TASTE IS UBER STRONG. I HATE GINGER!
so adela and qimin finished it for me. x:
realised my sister's camera was missing at the restaurant.
thought i left it at the hotel when i took my shopping stuff out.

went to TIMES SQUARE on our own.
bought an apple lip balm.
qimin bought a uber huge octopus.
went to 女人街 again after that.
adela bought tees.
qimin and i bought jackets! :D
go back to hotel and confirmed that i lost the camera.
omg. damn heartache the photos! wtf. ):

DAY FOUR.
woke up at 7 plus.
chiong breakfast and coach brought us to OCEAN PARK.
learnt about pandas and dolphins and also marketing strategy they use to maintain business.
(actually i fell asleep. -.- too tired.)

mr E.lim had uber lame moments when we're at the panda exhibit.

we got to find stuff and play our own after the "education tour".
went to the kids world and played the basketball machine.
adela is damn pro. she wont arounf 6 coupons!
qimin and i won 4 together. -.-
and we got a soft toy keychain each! :D
took photo with a mascot and went to check out what's madagascar 2 live is about.
it's a story telling walk.
there's this part where we have to cross the bridge with everything surrounding it spinning.
thought it would be okay if we quickly cross it.
walked to the middle and felt dizzy.
the spray at the end scares the shit out of us. @.@

took cable car to the other part of OCEAN PARK.
im afraid of heights. hugged the pole in the middle of the cable car for the whole journey.
the journy was like 10min long. T.T
makan first before heading to sea jelly exhibit. very cool!
went to play at the games booth.
i keep playing the shooting game.
i think i played for like 4-5 times.
won a medium cow soft toy, small bear and lion soft toy.
mr E.lim played alot of times at the next booth and won like around 6 medium soft toys!
he saw us play and decided to give it a try at this booth.
and he won the jumbo prize with his first try. wth. it's a HUGE monkey soft toy.
at the end of the day, he carried the most no. of soft toys. -.-

head towards airport at 5pm.
qimin and adela are very kind to accompany me to make police report.
qimin helped me to call the police and adela helped me with alot of translation.
they helped me with alot of other stuffs too.
i made them worry alot. x:
without them i would be damn lost man.
board the plane at 7.30pm.
the ride on the plane felt like being on a roller coaster at first.
scary. then everyone laughed. dunno why. LOL.
watched ASTROCATS & THE SIMPSONS.
reached singapore at 11.40pm.
reached home at 1am.

that's all for the whole HK trip!
and omg. i found a blue black on my knee cap.
wonder when did i injure there. =l
